G’day riders! At Ride The Board, we’re stoked to get your gear to you quickly and make returns hassle-free if needed. Here’s everything you need to know about shipping and our no-worries returns policy.

Shipping Information

Order Processing

We’ll get your order ready to ride in 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships.

Shipping Options

Standard Shipping (A$12.95)
– Delivered via DHL or FedEx
– Estimated delivery: 10-15 business days after dispatch

Free Shipping (Orders over A$50)
– Delivered via EMS
– Estimated delivery: 15-25 business days after dispatch

Note: We ship worldwide except to some Asian countries and remote locations. Delivery times may vary during peak periods.

Our No-Worries Returns Policy

We want you to be completely stoked with your purchase. If something’s not quite right, here’s how we’ll make it right:

Returns Window

You’ve got 15 days from when you receive your order to initiate a return. Items must be in original condition with all tags attached and packaging intact.

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact Us within 15 days at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for Approval – We’ll respond within 24 hours (usually faster!) with return instructions
  3. Package Securely – Include all original packaging and accessories
  4. Ship It Back using a trackable method (return shipping is at your expense)
  5. Get Refunded once we receive and inspect your return

Exchange Process

Want to swap for a different size or color? Follow the same steps as returns, but:

  • Specify “Exchange” in your email
  • Include your preferred replacement item
  • Note size/color preference (if applicable)

Bonus: We’ll cover the shipping cost for your replacement item!

Refund Information

Once we receive your return:

  • Processing Time: 3-5 business days
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Bank Processing: Additional 2-10 business days depending on your financial institution

For international customers: Refunds are processed in AUD. Any currency conversion differences are handled by your bank.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and customization reasons, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Used bodyboards or surf accessories (from our BODYBOARDS or BEACH ACCESSORIES collections)
  • Personalized or custom-made items from our Australian Made collection
  • Opened Fin Sets (from our FINS or 5 Fin Sets collections)
